I had availed the product through India today book club offer in which they would provide Swatch chrono watch along with Benetton watch for all at a rate of Rs 3100.The payment was made after a great deal of chase by India today executives for payment which was then promptly paid through mobile activated credit card payment. The 100% payment date made was 12th Feb. 09 that too after borrowing the credit card from my collogue as i do not own one. With only a expectation of receiving my watch. Booking id was generated by India today which was given to me after the payment. I received a message on my mobile after few days telling that the payment has failed. Shocked with the message i called customer care only to know that they have delivered Reebok kit as against my watch. Upon complaining I was told to refuse the parcel upon receipt so that when it reaches their end they would send the required one. Fro that day i have sent nearly more than 15 reminders through mail & more than 25 calls to customer care. People from executive level to customer care staff none of them have responded to my request. I feel It is only they send computer generated meassage which carrys no meaning as they are literally not bothered about. Its nearly four month now & my amount of Rs 3100 has been cheated by India today book club. Its only a drama India today book club is conducting with the people which limits only on our trust on reputed brand of india & we make payment. I advice who so ever reads my message & caution them to think twice before making any advance payment to India today club.
