Non availability of service sold, bad practices

I have taken a subscription of India Today Book Club (ITBC) - Movie Ticket Coupon. Order no M-COMMERCE/0GA090032597

1. ITBC have sold good number of memberships but do not have enough seat arrangements with the cinema halls. Every time I called for ticket for the next 2-3 days, your call centre reverted with same reply "no availability for the Next 6-7 days, tell me a date after that". I enquired wIth the team Leader/manager at call centre on actually how many seats you have per show In a cinema hall - reply was 1 seat per show or max 2 In some hall. it was clear why the problem. they do not have seats for which ITBC sold coupons and hence the coupons hardly can be used.

2. Still I wanted to see whether ITBC accepted booking for a date 6-7 days from Booking Date, and I tried to Book on the date the tele call handler said It was available. Then she asked ofr my credit card number so that she can write down the card number and CVV number, and she will make the booking and then call me back with confirmation. I have Booked ITBC coupon ONLINE, why would I give my credit card number to be written by their tele call handler?

3. I said I do not have credit card. I only have Debit card. the tele call handler straightway replied "Debit card not acceptable, and the customer must have a credit card" ITBC will only make the rules for the world? When my debit card was acceptable for the booking of coupons why further Transaction can not be made with same debit card and ITBC requires a new instrument. I talked to the team leader / manager, who said she will revert to me on next working day... it is 3 weeks, she has not reverted.

It is very clear that ITBC sold coupons without actually having the service/capacity and they have designed bad practices to woo away customers from asking to avail the service and make money without delivering the product.
