Non receipt of goods inspite of payment

I had ordered for “Sacred Moments” CD’s (a pack of 20 CD’s) offered by India Today Book Club, in September. For which the payment was to be done in three stages (as per payment option offered):

1. Against receipt of VPP

2 & 3 Two cheques of Rs 600/- each.

We have not received the docket till date whereas the cheques have been en-cashed. The Cheque details are as follows:

1. U.Co Bank cheque # 774544 dated 15.10.08 ammount Rs. 600.00 cleared on 01.12.08

2. U.Co Bank Cheque # 774545 dated 15.11.08 ammount Rs. 600.00 cleared on 19.12.08

We have been calling their help line number - 011-40502424 ceveral times and have always been assured of us receiving the goods through VPP within the next 15 days. Last time we launche our complaint at the help desk on the 16th of July we were assured that the goods would reach us befor the 1st of August 09. The complaint number being 154301 for your reference.

I have also written email's to them but no joy. which can be provide as proof if required.

It is really irritating to get such unprofessiona and unethical response from a comapny that has a INDIA tag on it.

Request you to help me out of this.
