India Today Book Club
No clue on fate of promised gifts/No reply from telephone numbe

I have, from time to time, been buying products from India Today Book club (ITBC) and am a member of the club. I have not been allocated an internet user name and password for the website of ITBC. Recently, purchased a book titled Complete History of the world with an understanding that certain 'assured gifts' came with the offer. One of the gifts is a free round trip air ticket worth Rs.7, 000/-. No flight booking form of any sort has been received by me as on date. I have tried contacting India Today Book Club at 011-40502424 on three separate occasions, after the IVRS opening guidance about the numbers to be dialed there is no response - once I held on for more than seven minutes and no one came on the line.

Yesterday, there was a telecall from ITBC offering me a Kodak camera at a lower than market price, and I informed the telecaller about my problem. I was directed by the telecaller to try the number again, which I did and the result has been mentioned by me above.
