I lodged this complaint with http://inconsumercomplaints.com in July and received a mail from the India Today Book Club asking for various information as mentioned above. I ordered a watch online from the India Today Book Club and regret having done so. All I am doing is chasing up with them for the delivery and the only response they have is that they have forwarded my mail to the concerned department and I will be hearing from them soon.
I would like my money back as well as an additional INR10, 000/- for having called at least 30 times as well as many, many emails and the sheer harrassment that this reputed company has put me through.
The India Today Book Club seems like a scam and should be blacklisted. The number of complaints that I have come across online are numerous.
