NON-RECEIPT OF GOODS ORDERED, INSPITE OF PAYMENT BEING MADE ON JULY 6 (3 months ago)

On Monday July 6, I accepted an offer received by E-mail from The India Today Book Club for a pair of REEBOK SHOES and FLOATERS at the cost of Rs. 2499. I paid through Credit Card. I immediately received a reply acknowledging that I have made the said payment.

On not receiving any communication from them for over 7 weeks, I e-mailed them on August 24, as the phone lines were always busy.

They replied that due to some technical error, my order had not been updated in their records and that I should wait a week.

On receiving no response again, I e-mailed them again on September 10. They replied the next day requesting for copies of my Credit Card Statement showing proof of payment. I E-mailed scanned copies of the same immediately, i.e. on September 11.

Today is October 8, over 3 months sionce I placed the order and I am simply fed-up with their total apathy and disregard towards the whole incident. I now want the Goods ordered or my money (Rs. 2499/- interest) back immediately.
