Very poor construction and lot more

I have purchased a flat in Chennai build by Indira Foundations. During the time of booking the builder was extremely polite and down to earth. The plan and the ads show that the complex would have good water treatement plant, swimming pool etc etc. But none of these were shown in the actual documents that we signed. They did provide a water treatment plant and swimming pool but the water treatment plant was not even enough to feed one block (the complex had 4 blocks). We had to spend more money to get a better water treatment plant. They promised to hand over the project in a year time but i actually got the keys more than a year after the promised date and i was not compensated for the delay (most good builders do compensate by giving a monthly amount).

Well, the best part is that, the builder collected a good amount as corpus fund and said that this amount would be given to the Association that is formed after the flat is handed over. Its been 2 years since i am living in the flat and i still here the association saying that the builder has not given the corpus fund to the association.

When the project was started, there was no plan or indication of a commercial area within the complex but after the flats were construted the builder smarlty used the parking area promised to the customers and used it to build a commercial area, which he is trying to sell out.

The quality of construction is extremely bad. There are lots of cracks in every room and the water used in the bathroom goes between the bathroom floor tiles and people living in the floor below have started complaining about water triping.

I will not recommend this builder at any cost.

If you think that this is a bogus complaint. Visit any of their pojects personally and you will get to know the truth. If you are still not convinced then find out who the owner is and what he does (politician??? Find out yourself)
