Entry denied

I bought two tickets for 8:00 pm match on 17th may between delhi and bangalore. I reached the venue at 9:05 pm only to know that I am late and entry was denied. They told me that entry time was till 9:00 pm.

There is nowhere written on ticket as well as on ipl website that entry will close at 9:00 pm

How can I know that entry time is till 9:00 pm? I want compensation.
