Karizma
Missing on high altitude from 9000 ft

Respected Sir,

I had purchased a karizma in 2006. I am a artist by profession & a traveller, I mostly travel at high altitudes (Lahaul, Spiti & Ladakh) on bike. I went to Lahaul & Spiti last year. When we started our journey from Manali to Rohtang (9000 ft to 13000 ft) two of our karizma faced missing problem after gaining height. We tried every thing from checking the fuel to cleaning our carburettor. On of my friend a Aeronautical engineer was with me with his karizma, finally we removed the paper from the air filter & replaced with a thin layered foam. But the problem of missing improved not end up. Bike was missing somewhere in 2500 rpm. There in Kaza we met some people who owned karizma also facing the same problem. After completing my tour with that missing problem I had a chat with hero honda service engineer Mr. Partho about that problem. But he didn't come out with any solution. Now I m again planning to move on high altitude. Can you please rectify my problem. Why this bike missing on high altitude... waiting for your reply.
