Noise pollution in BEST buses

I am regular traveller in B.ES.T. buses for the past several years & quite happy with the general service of the undertaking.

After the introduction of T.V.'S in the buses to earn some extra Advt. revenue this public utility is making it very painful for all commuters due to loud volume of the T.V. sets churning out repeatedly the same Advertisements having no entertain ment value. I complained to the Conductors to tone down the volume many times as it was very disturbing to everybody but they said it is controlled by the control department & they are penalised even if they touch the T.V.

I request the authorities to have some consideration for users who may be even sick & old & keep the volume level to minimum if they cannot comletely eliminate this earsore.
