Notebooks getting heated up

The Laptop gets heated up. It becomes so hot I feel irritated putting my hands on the laptop. Putting my laptop on my lap is out of question.
Moreover the body is half black and half Nevy Blue.
Even my CD drive doesn't function properly. The CDs I am able to watch on a desktop gets hang again and again on my newly purchased lenevo.
Appreciate if somebody can address these problems. I am reachable at 91 9413309933.
