Lenovo 3000 N100 notebook Battery
Replacement battery does not work as well

Hi,

Guys in continuation to my previous article in this forum, I wanted to highlight that Lenovo guys replaced my battery after lots of follow up with smcindia@in.ibm.com in the month of Apr'08. However after 6-7 months same problem repeated. The battery initially used to work only for few minutes and finally stopped working at all. I had been following up with Lenovo guys since Nov'08 however they have only one statement to make "The battery can not be replaced as your notebook is not under Warranty and you will have to purchase a new battery". I am still trying to fight with them, however if they do not replace the battery, Im convinced to file a legal complaint against them. I wanted to know how does this portal helps, other than sharing our pains. Can someone throw some light on this??
