Faulty Product and Pathetic Service

I purchased 3 LG Air Con's (2 Window and 1 split) at the Times Exhibition at Bandra-Kurla complex Mumbai on 28th April 08. It's been a nighmare from the time I bought these LG products. The 1.5 ton window AC has never worked from the time it was installed. According to the LG service Engineer, one of the parts is faulty and hence needs to be replaced. How can a part be faulty of a new Air con? When I have paid for a new AC, I expected a working product and not the one with faulty
part. Why should I accept a product with faulty part? Also the dealer delivered an incorrect product, instead of a 2 ton split AC, the dealer has sent 1 ton Ac and never bothered to replace it with 2 ton. Everytime we call, the dealer's Sales person has given different excuses. When I met the Sales person Mr Joseph who sold me the AC at the exhibition, he was very rude and arrogant. The experience of buying an LG product has been horrifying. The LG Branch office number 022-28352884/5 given to me by the LG service desk has never been answered. I tried the number
for several days without success. I have also posted a complaint on the LG India website but haven't got any reply. I have lost trust in the LG products and services. I am shocked to see the attitude and the culture prevailing at LG India.
