LIC POLICY
Duplicate copy of policy -- 114101170

My father on my behalf had applied for duplicate copy of policy no. 114101170 on 30/07/09 and deposited the required fees of some Rs. 86.00 at Branch No 115 at N-72 Bombay Lift Bldg., Cannaught Place, New Delhi. He was told that we will be getting policy within 1 week's time. He again contacted the concerned person Mr. Chetan Sagar at this branch who replied that the Typist is not available and it may take another week's time. Keeping in mind a long weekend, my father again contacted this person today, i.e., 20/08. This person attended the call and put the call on hold by saying he is looking for policy status. He put the call on hold for 20 minutes and did not return and somebody hung up the phone. Again my father tried the number and spoke to this person and again he had put the call on hold and did not provide with any information about the policy.

This kind of irresponsible behavior from a company's personnel is really shocking. I would request that matter be brought in attention of the concerned person and do the needful and provide me with the duplicate copy of the policy as soon as possible.
