My father was paying the preminum of rs 8335 against the polisy no372095866 which was a yearly installment. started from 1998 to 2008. as in an accident my father has died and the claaim form was submitted to the company as a result the amount so some we have got it is nearly 1.4 lac. but the agent is saying that the total amount of the policy insured is 75000.
i have an confusion that if we calculate simply 8335*10 years the total amount is Rs. 83350/- and the receipt says that the sum assured is Rs. 75000/- how is this possible and after claim how much amount should we get.
