LIC Policy No 161357960 (122-7)
25% of Maturity not received

Dear sir

I had LIC Policy No 161357960 (pension type) which matured in Sep. 2008.& since I was out of india, I could apply for claim in Oct. 2008. only. No notice was sent to me about maturity. Since I was in India for few days, I gave my new correspondence address. I had applied for 25% of maturity monthly pension.. LIC had sent the post dated cheques for 1 year pension but no payment for 25% amount.

On my return to India, I checked personaly in LIC Office at Jeevan Bharti Building in New Delhi & found that payment was made but it has to be claimed from LIC Brach which issued the Policy. I submitted my complaint at LIC Office Delhi as well as Posted to Bathida Branch from where the Policy has been Issued. It is more than one month & no reply has been sent to me.

On one Hand LIC says we provide the service all over India But this type of service is useless.

It seems that LIC India is keeping my 25% of Maturity Value with them intentionally. I lodge here my complaint & want LIC to make the payment alongwith Interest for the period it has detained the Money..

If any of LIC Officer is watching this complaint, should look in the matter & solve the problem.
