LIC/ Varishtha Pension scheme
Non Receipt of Maturity Cheque

Dear Sir,

My late mother Ms Kajol Ghosh had the following policies (Varishtha Pension ) :

1) Policy No. 213723128 (Date of commencement: 8/08/03)

2) Policy No. 213741897 (Date of commencement: 26/02/04)

I had applied for payment of the above mentioned policies, along with the filled claim form and attested death certificate in the first week of Dec'08.

However, till date i have not received my payment although repeated reminders to the LIC, Kanpur branch have given to them. They keep saying that due to shortage of staff, they are unable to process and may take more time.

Sir, i stay in Mumbai and employed with SBI and i am unable to understand why this is taking so much time by the Kanpur branch. I am losing interest on my principal amount since these policies have matured 5 to 6 years ago.

My humble request to you if you may kindly intervene on this matter so that i do not face further financial losses.
