Non payment of Maturing Amount

Policiy no S 57575722 DATED 05-08-82 TABLE 76-25 FOR RS 40000 MATURED ON 05-08-07

I am working with State Bank of Indore and had taken this policy during 1982. The premium is being paid regularly through Salary Saving Scheme.

The policy has matured two years back. When I contacted their office at Indore where I am presently working, they informed me that the premium paid is lying in Sundry Account and has not been credited in my account because of some internal administrative problem. They asked me to come after one month. I kept on visiting their office every month but to no avail.

Then they asked me to submit the claim in writing, which I did three months back. Even then no response till date. I also met the Chief Manager, Indore who spoke nicely but was not effective in redressing my complaint.

I have been running from pillar to post for the last two years to get the payment of my policy.

I did commit the mistake of relying on LIC as those days when I got policy, I did not have any other option.

I also know that complaining on your site will also be fruitless yet I am taking a chance.
