Sub: ARBITRARY LOCKER CHARGES
Dear Sir,
I refer to my fax on 011-41809114 dated 09-Apr as also communication to the customer care (Mr. Trishul Ref: DEL 047482) the same day at about 6.15p.m. I am distressed to say neither any reply to my fax was given nor any call back from the customer care arranged, as promised.
Two lockers of the same size were taken on 09-Aug and 11-Aug in Greater Kailash-1 and Chitranjan Park branch, New Delhi respectively for a period of one year only. The said lockers were given only after asking us to make fixed deposit in the bank which was complied to.
This is to request you to kindly reply to the followings:
1. The lockers of the same size were charged @ Rs. 3000/- for the one and @ Rs.9000/- for the other?
2. On scrutiny of the statement of the above account for the period 13 Jan to 07-Apr we now found that Rs.9000/- and Rs.30000/- had been arbitrarily charged for the same lockers?
3. Why did the bank not inform us before extending the tenure of the lockers before the expiry that is in Aug and debit charges from our account without our knowledge?
4. Whatever be the policy regarding the lockers, why each and every aspect, any or all the important piece of information that is vital to obtaining the lockers not disclosed verbally and/or a copy of the signed document given to us?
All this and above are prejudicial to our interest and which in our opinion, grossly amounts to unfair trade practice.
Regards
