LPG (Cooking Gas)
Supplied expired cylinder marked "D 04"

Dear Sir,

This complaint is for receiving of a gas cylinder which bears an expiry date of 5 years ago on it. That the gas cylinder bears an expiry date was not known to me. It only came into my notice when it was published on the daily newspaper "Ananda Bazar Patrika" dated 19.02.09 and was also shown on TV media on local news channels on the same date.

I then checked my cylinder, which was coincidentaly supplied to me on 18.02.09 and noticed that it was marked as "D 04" and i.e the cylinder's life had expired 5 years back.

The matter was immediately brought to the notice of our local supplier, M/s. NORTH END GAS CENTRE, Prasadpur, 11 No. Rail Gate, Barasat . (N) 24 Pgs, but they refused to replace the same with the plea that they do not have any directives from Indian Oil company.

Hence, under this circumstances I solely remain on you to do the needful and oblige.
