Dear Make My Trip
I have been trying since 17.15 today to book flights with your system.
At 1730, after giving all my credit card details, I go to a screen which told me I had been charged with Rs 15, 656.00. This same screen said “You have previously attempted to make a booking with similar details. To avoid making a duplicate booking, kindly call our Customer Support team at 1-800-11 8747 (MTNL & BSNL) or 1-800 102 8747 (All Major Operators) and quote your MakeMyTrip Booking ID: FLT0000758xxxx. Thank you.”
I called your support line which was less that useful. Your customer service representative kept asking me to contact y bank, when what I wanted was to be told if I had any tickets. Eventually he told me there was no duplicate, my payment hadn’t been taken and I should buy the tickets again.
I went through the whole process again, until a reached a screen which says the exact same thing. That I have been charged with Rs 15656 and You have previously attempted to make a booking with similar details. To avoid making a duplicate booking, kindly call our Customer Support team at 1-800-11 8747 (MTNL & BSNL) or 1-800 102 8747 (All Major Operators) and quote your MakeMyTrip Booking ID: FLT0000758xxxx. Thank you.”
I have called your support line again and cannot get through.
Please accept this as confirmation from me that
1 – I do not wish to book any flights with you
2 – I do not expect to be charged by you for any of the above attempts to book flights
3 – If I am charged by you for the abve flights or anything else I will expect a full refund, plus interest and bank charges
4 – I am notifying the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum of this poor service.
