False blood report

I got a Vitamin B12 test done. It was a blood test from Max Pathlabs, Banashankari, Bangalore (Opp BDA complex). The report showed the outcome of a count of 113. This was after a 6 month treatment I took for the same.

My doctor got a doubt that it cant drop to this level and advised me to go for a second check to ensure the count is correct. I got it done again within 5 days span and was surprised to see that the count was > 2000. This glaring difference shocked me. If I had not got the same done second time, I would have got treated with injections for another 6 months or so which might have been dangerous as the treatment would have been for no reason.

When I contacted and spoke to the so called doctor who runs the diagnostic centre with the 2 reports, he was first defensive and then said I would have taken treatment in those 5 days to have to jumped from 113 to >2000. This was ridiculous to me and when I argued that they were playing with the health of individuals, he was least bothered and concerned about it. Common sense shows and my experience shows that I had to take injections for 6 months for the levels to shoot up and was surprised to hear from him that 5 days will matter and take the count levels to this level. Let me tell you that I had not got any treatment in those 5 days and it was 5 days because I had no time to go to the doc with the 'false report'.

My sincere advise to all Bangaloreans is not to go to this lab for any kind of tests. If you do so, you MAY put yourself to high risk which I am sure nobody will want to do.
