Colour distortion during dry cleaning

I had given cream colour Punjab top with heavy embroidery for dry cleaning in Metro Laundry (Santacruz – E Kalian market) the dress was fully embroidered & costing approx Rs. 3000. When went to collect the dress found that the colour has been distorted & been moved to the light colour area after complaining the person told that he will fix it, in that bargain he removed the colour which had spread on the cream colour but the colour of the embroidery got totally ruined. The person told that he will repay me the cost of the dress or will get the dress top piece for me. When I visited him again to collect the money he has taken the cost from the factory which produces that material & the top cost rs. 1200 & he will give me half of that value ie rs. 600.

They also agreed that they don’t do petrol wash which is usually done. They only wash it the same way what we wash at home & they charge us R. 60 per cloth. Would like to know how I can take this up & do a case against the same so consumer is not cheated by in the name of dry cleaning.
