Poor Quality of LCD T.V'S

Dear Sir,

We bought a 42" LCD T.V of Moser Baer Company, from Kohinoor Electronics, at Lamington Road, Grant Road West, Mumbai-36, on Sept for Approx. 44, 000/- and during Sept we were out of Station so we could not use the Said Wall Mounted T.V. On 1 st week of Oct, we wanted to put on the T.V but the sound was coming and the monitor screen went blank with no pictures appearing. After great pains the authorised service centre technician visited today on 30-11-09 and after inspection declared that the "Invertor" for said Model No MBILTH 42D is not working and the replacement cost shall be 30, 000/- plus, since the warranty period of one year was over. I am shocked. No person would like to pay Rs 30, 000/- for repairing a T.V. which has costed Rs 44, 000/- within ONE YEAR time frame. Is it correct and justified in any manner? Thus, it appears that the Said Company MOSER Baer has devised a novel modus operandii to cheat the customers first by using substandard parts and secondly by charging exhorbitantly for parts thro' authorised service centres. Customers beware of such products sold by such companies. DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCTS OF MOSER BAER COMPANY IF THEY CONTINUE WITH SUCH MALPRACTICE AS A MARK OF PROTEST PLEASE AND BE AWARE.
