Problems with Gift Vouche

I had purchsed a springwel mattress from M/s Comfort furnishing, Shakti Nagar, New Delhi, in october. as a part of the deal i was given a gift voucher of M/s Rosebys for Rs. 500 which was valid for a period of one year. When i contacted M/s Rosebys showroom in Kapil Vihar, Pithampura, New delhi in the month of March they have refused to accept the voucher saying that they have stopped accepting this voucher since 31.01.2010. When i reported the same to m/s Comfort furnishing, i was advised to go to the showroom of rosebys again saying that my voucher number has been forwarded to the kapil vihar showroom and the same will be valid for a purchase of Rs. 500. But when i again visited the rosebys showroom at kapil vihar they have not only refused to accept the voucher but also advised me to go to consumer forum.
