MTC bus driver's attitude

Very often we see the negative and irresponsible attitude of MTC drivers. It looks like as if the road is theirs and they dont need to obey any traffic rules. When they ply all other vehicles specially cars and two wheelers have to give them way. We respect that buses are public transport carrying more passengers, its heavy vehicle etc, at the same time it should not be an excuse for them to be unruly and disrespectful on the road. I also request the transport Police to striktly take action on the buses who do not respect traffic, hit and hun the cars.

On two occasions the MTC has hit my car and has been scot free. The first on happened in Vijayanagar terminus two years back. we were waiting in traffic and the bus above all was taking U turn towards Tambaram from Terminus when the Red Light signal was on, he hit the front portion of our car and left with out even bothering to stop! The second occasion a bus coming from Pallikaranai bridge near mailai Balaji Nagr hit and broke the mirror on the left side of my car while over taking. This guy at least stopped and requested for pardon.

All I want to know is is there any way in which these guys can be taken to task or put in line. I was told by a local police that it is time consuming and nothing will happen if you go to station with their complaint!! Is it true..
