NON REPAYMENT OF DEPOSIT

I am a Retired company official who had deposited in

Muthialpet Benefit Fund Ltd. Varatharaju Bldg., No 199 Thambu Chetty Street. Chennai 600001

a sum of rRs 25000/ Rs Twentfive Thousands only vide their

FIXED DEPOSIT RECEIPT dated 20/08 (Effective date4/05) Rt No8310 for 36 months due on 4/05.

On and after the due date, several personal visits to their office (after the due date in May), I was asked to come to their place in June to receive some payment.

Accordingly I visited them and got a paymentof Rs3412..00== as part payment of the Deposit with interest (which they contend as 35% of the amount due.)

I made frantic attempts subsequently by visits and phone calls to their office for repayment of overdue balance amounts but was told that unless they realise their dues from borrowers they cannot repay

.Iam broinging this to your notice to treat this as a complaint and humbly request you to take effective steps for making them obey the laws. There must be many others like me suffering like this. On heaing from you I shall forward Xerox copies of the Deposit Receipt and payment authorisation slips substanitating my charges.
