ACC Limited Cement Company
Non refund of advance amount

Sir

We are building construction/contractors firm, working with Railways, Defence departments, etc. Our problem is that we had provided Rs.15, 00, 000/-{Fifteen Lakhs Only}to Acc ltd cement company through crossed on-account payable cheques in the month of November'07 as a advance for supply of cement at our work places, but the company did not make any supplies and when we approached them for refund of amount they say that they are reluctant to make refunds and moreover they said that the said amount is transferred by them to one of their dealers and now that particular dealer will be answerable to us. Please suggest, what to do?
