Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that we are a non-profitable charitable registered society and have been involved in wholistic community developmental work since 1989. We have been helping the poor & needy with the help of generous donors ever since we were formed in a slum in Kolkata
On Monday, the 9th June some of us returned from Nagpur by Geetanjali Express 2859 which was running late and finally arrived in Howrah station after 5 hours late. I had kept one of my brief cases under the seat no. 6 in AC III tier coach no. B1. I lost one piece of briefcase where I had kept our society LCD & Video projector. The briefcase was covered with a greenish colored cloth.
We have information from the Railways sources that the briefcase has been found and is laying in the custody of one GRP police.
On Tuesday, the 10th June at around 11:00 AM, I had reported the matter to your Thana at the Howrah Station. On the 13th June, I had also given a letter to the GRP officer. Sub-Inspector P.K. Reja with whom I had talked told me that the SI in-charge of the go-down has the key and will join after 10 days. What we can not understand how the key can be with one person for so long time. We have been informed that this is how the case with GRP is neglected & delayed.
One of our members, who is one of the director in the vigilance department had called your officer and he has been told the same thing. I have made several calls and we have visited your office repeatedly but without any result.
Would you please be gracious to help us in this situation and instruct your Thana in-charge to let us know the where-about of our briefcase and of course for this act of your kindness we shall remain grateful to you. Your gracious intervention will bring about a results in the search for the briefcase.
Sincerely yours,
Rev. Susanta Patra
