Ad battery stand by time

I'm a resident of mumbai in khar ease, I've bought a nokia 1202 phone from a dealer in santacruz west, however the battery doesn't long even for one day even after full charging. when I went to retuirn it he just exchanged the battery and gave back to me again the situation was same and again when I went to replace it he just exchanged the battery and gave back to me stating that this time it wont happen, however still the situation is the same and he is not ready to take it back eventhough I'm buying a nother phone from hm please help...
