Main switch problem

Dear Sir,

i bought nokia mobile model No.3110c on date 18 april from Authorised Dealer Alfa at Irla Vile Parle (W) bill no.58/18.04.08.i faced a problem last month Regarding on/off switch problem.i had to go nokia service centre at J.P.Road Andheri (W), meet to Mr. Ilyas but it is with great agony he told me i take a charge for Repair.why u coming with defected peices.i feel Mr. Ilyas doesn't know how to speak with valued customer. Dear Sir what's the Meaning of warrenty period.
