Bad servicing of handset

Sir/Madam

i have purchased one set of Nokia 3500 C on 01.04.08. Suddenly on 07.07.08 morning i have seen that it is not operating. Same day after office i have rushed to Nokia Service Center at Girish Park, Kolkata at around 6.05 pm. They have checked the set and not taken for repair and told to come at next day without any proper reason. On 09.07.08 i have gone agin and they have told me that they are unable trace problem and it will go to head office. Sitting there i have seen three more persons with same problem.

My question is when they are unable to repair a simple set like 3500C why Nokia is selling such sets in market
