Sir,

I own a 3600s sliding mobile. I gave the same to M/s. SR Trading at Chennai 600018. I got the same repaired and got it back. In this matter I got lot of heart burns. I want to share with you with a real reason for that. In this matter I sent a mail to them and also a reminder with no reply from them. In case if you can give me some reply on this, I can take that as a reply and move to appropriiate authority. I also furnish copy of the mail for ready reference. Expecting an early reply to the mail

Dear Sir,

I gave my 3600 s on 25.09.2009 to your company vide IMEI 35570602421577 under job sheet no.25.9/22 with a compliant that keys are not working.for I was constantly calling your centre for latest position. Every time I received a reply will call me back. After repeated deliberation in this, I fed and decided to make a last call on 5th. To this a gentlemen replied that the same could not be done I can take back the set. When I asked for the reason, he asked to call back again after half an hour. I did made a call, this time a lady took the phone and said, the said is beyond warranty period and it will cost me and can be repaired. I said go ahead I will pay the cost.

Today I got the phone from your centre saying that the unit is ready and I got to pay Rs.1847/= Accordingly, I visited the centre. After no body called my delivery number and on advise of the fellow customer, I went in and asked for the said.. To my surprise, except me no one was there. Then they gave me the said after doing the loading of items given to me at the time of taking the sent for repair.

Then, it was infored that I got to pay and gave me a bill under service invoice 5165/08.10.09 which shows an amount Rs.1775.96 and vat 4% 71.04. I paid the amount and checked the instrument, I found still my key GO TO button not working. when asked for, they asked me to press hard. Then I asked what work was carried out when the complaint is for keys not working. They said they checked and changed the SLIDING STRIP and the set is OK. I am at a loss to understand why sliding strip was changed when the same was working and charged for that whereas the complaint is for non functioning of keys. I need a clarification in this.

In this, I need following clarification from your end before I proceed further in the matter

a. why they had not repaired the set early and later just repaired just like that when I accepted for paying the money

b. when the unit is set to be beyond warranty period why no other chargers levied.

c. when the vat is charged at 4% with an amount of Rs.71.04 the charged amount is only the billed amount of Rs. 1775.96 When the item is replaced, in my understanding, the item should be made by you or purchased from other place. As you charged for the full amount I presume you manufactureed the same as the amount do not represent any value as the case of a purchase. Please clarify

d. How you are going to compensate me when the delay appears to be not normal and just artificial delay

e. I am keeping the set as is received from your side and is prepared to show it to the manufacturer for the correctness of the statement from your side and the relative charges

f. what is the normal period to return back the set on repair any job card is made for the work turned out for each set, if so please let me know about that

I expect an earnest and honest reply within 15 days to understand the situation and to proceed before concerned governmental authorities for redressal. In case I am not in receipt of any reply before 24th October I will consider, that you are not intersted in replying to me and will take up the matter with MANUFACTURER and also CONCERNED AUTHORITIES for redressal and compensation.
