Not working new nokia 5130

I bought new Nokia -5130 before 10 days from mobile store . now it is not working. and shopkeeper told me u have to go to nokia care centre. i have checked nokia care centre is in nerul and timing is 10 to 6. i am working. I have to take leave for this. what is this? what happend to this new set? my old cell is better. i feel that why i had buy new cell..
