Poor/No After-Sales Service

I am extremely unhappy with after-sales service provided by Nokia support centers.

1. I bought 5610 few months back. Last month it developed a snag of blank display. I took the phone to HCL Nokia care center and after waiting for 3 weeks for the spare display panel it was finally repaired.

2. On 3rd of November the problem resurfaced and when I went back to HCL Nokia Care Center. I found that to be permanently closed and I was pointed to MICRONAS TELECOM at C-4, Sector-2 Noida.

3. I was again told that there weren’t spares for display panel and I should revisit them in a day or two. Today on 7th of November I called up Nokia Careline (reference 2-3HMUM7) I was told that the set was repaired and I can go and pick the set from the support center.

4. I also saw the status on-line at “www.namscare.com” and it showed “CLOSED – Repaired”

5. Just to make sure it was repaired I called up Service Center only to find that the set has not been repaired pending spares and I should be contacting them on 13th of Nov to check the status.

1. May I request you to please look into this matter. This is pure harassment and Nokia"s inability to deliver service within stipulated timeframe.

Why wrong status on the web and when I call Nokia Care Center they also give me the wrong status?

If Nokia cannot stock spares why do they sell these phones?

Twice I am made to wait for weeks for the same part?

The same problem has surfaced within weeks of repair?

If the phone is faulty why don’t they just change the phone?

If the same problem re-occurs, what should I do. Do you expect me to again go back to Nokia support center and wait for 2-3 weeks to get it repaired. Nokia repair center is no more them a fish market.

I have lodged another complaint with Nokia Care line and the complaint number is 2-3HN7HJ dated 7th of Nov.
