Charging in warranty period

Dear sir/madam,

With due respect I want to inform you that i have given my Nokia handset to the service centre for repairing as it stopped to work while i was updating it online. But the service centre staff is saying that the problem is due to water particles inside my mobile. my mobile was working properly before the process of upgrading.

they are also charging me for their service even when my phone is in warranty period.
