FAULTY PRODUCT

Dear Sir,

I had purchased one NOKIA 5800 bearing serial no 354182025554583 on 12/03 for a sum of Rs 19000/-from Janata Stores, P-166/1 CIT Scheme VII M, Kolkata-700054.

The set is having warrenty for 1yr and battery 6 month.

After couple of month use the set started giving trouble and on 10/10 i took the set to your service centre namely CRAZY INFO VISION, Golaghata Road, VIP tower, Kolkata-700048. and it was diagnosed that the backup battery was empty job sheet no 291504886/091010/11

they kept the battery for 2days and returned the same was fine.

In good faith i brought the battery back and fitted it to my set but to my utter surprise i found the set was not working.

Then I took theset to your service centre-MS tele solutions, DN, sector -5 Saltlake, Kolkata700091 on 6/11 job sheet no 267504886/091106/17.They gave me a tat of day observation and deposited both my set and battery.

When i went to collect the set on 7-11.It was informed to me that there is problem. They kept the set with them for repair and asked me to take the set back after two days. I took delivery of the set after two days but i found that the hand set was still not working. Then they had further kept the set with them and asked me to enquire after fifteen days - I WONDER WHY THEN THEY HANDED OVER THE SET TO ME ON 2ND DAY AFTER MY TAKING THE SET TO THEM?

I have been working in a renower service provider company and we always recommend NOKIA sets to our customer and i am shocked to have received such reciprocity from no less a company than NOKIA itself.

I would seek your intervention in the matter and to ensure that I set back the value for what aI had spent for a costly set. Would you please ensure that I get back my set absolutly trouble free or a replacement by a new set failing which I shall be constrained to take up the matter with an appropriate forum at your cost and responsibility apart from throwing the issue before the press as it 18 day's and the service center person is saying it will take another 10 days time. HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT??
