Baterry size Doubled Loss of power Backup

Battery of my Nokia 6233 swells up within 1 years

I have a nokia 6233 and my battery BP-6M had recently started giving very erratic power backup when I checked, to my surprise i found the battery size nearly doubled.

Its not a question of warranty, why is that nokia being the single largest cell phone manufacturer is repeatedly facing such issues with batteries, is it the cost-cutting from their end which is costing the customers dear.

Even after buying a phone in the Rs 9K range, the consumers cannot expect product quality even for 2 years.

These faulty batteries should be replaced immediately and Nokia should take steps to check this from happening lest it spoils its image in the biggest cell phone market of the world.
