I purchased Nokia 6275 from Sangeetha store in Forum Mall Bangalore. On using the phone for 10minutes, the incomming voice starts getting distorted totally and handet becomes hot.
I went to sngeetha store and they gave me a contact information of Sangeetha helpline. From there I was asked to ultimately go to Nokia Care.
At nokia care there was Ms. Pavitra who told me that the mobile will loose all its data and contacts unless I MANUALLY take backup, and the mobile will further be gone for 15 days to Chennai for repair. Then she asked me if I really want to give it for repair. when I asked more she called "the supervisor" Mr Pradeep. Who further extended the repair time to 25 days and told me that the phone will be sent to head office where it will be decided if it could be repaired.
The mobile is defected from day 1 but it was discovered only after talking for some time (10-15 mins). I dont understand why there is so many people employed and kept at Nokia Care and so many centers are there at Bangalore when all they are doing is to collect the phone and send it to Chennai and sit there seeing the big flat screen TV that company has placed there with the money collected from the customers. They should hire some repair engineer instead for the city.
If really that is the time required for repair then the company should provide a different handset (maybe with a guarantee/security from the customer).
looks to me that Nokia actually wants its customers to go and get their product repaired from local electronics market.
