I purchased Nokia 6300 from Cell World in Madhapur HYD last November (08.) As all products do, this item too had a warranty period of 1 year. During the mid of September, my phone started causing problems of shutting down automatically. I brought this issue to the notice of the franchise center and my phone was sent to the service station. After 10 days, I received my phone back after they reinstalled the software and this time, it only lasted for 1 day and the same problem reoccured.
I gave the phone again and this time my phone was re-imaged again, logically speaking, I dont know the reason for re-imaging again because the software was reinstalled within a week ago. Post receiving it back, it didnt even last a day.
I gave the phone again to Cell World! This time, the phone was kept again for 5 days and I was told that the chip/circuit was fixed and post I received it, it lasted for 1.5 days and the same problem of switching off re-occurred. Hoping this was an issue was Sim-Card, I checked it with two different Sim-Cards but I was quite unfortunate.
All this while, I dealt with different people in Cell World, while at times they sounded helpful, however, upon seeing that the issue was not getting fixed, I was moved hand to hand to deal with different people. I am quite unsure on how to get my issue fixed. Next month, the phone will get off the warranty time and then I also know that no one will entertain me.
This is quite a disgusting, harassing, bad customer service I have ever received. I am not sure how I can bring this issue to some one at executive level, who can help me in getting this fixed. It is quite painful when in this fast paced world, your phone is not working, time and again you lose your contact details and above that you have to drive 7 KMS to drop and pick something which never works.
