Customer service attitude & inaccurate information about handset delivery

Hi,

I had lodged a complaint with Nokia customer care, District center, Janakpuri Branch. I had been given the jobsheet on 19th Feb with delivery date for handset as 29th Feb and handsfree delivery date as 12th Mar.

Complaint - 1. I have been constantly calling up their shop tel no mentioned on the jobsheet for 2 weeks time several times, there phone either goes busy or either keeps on ringing. Not even once in 20 to 30 times have they picked up the phone. How can a customer know if the handset is ready or not, and i wanted to know the closing and opening times, but damn nobody picks up the call.

2. Post this frustation, I sent one of my friends to confrim if handset is ready for delivery and he was told yes we can collect it anytime.

3.I went yesterday to nokia service centre at 6:30pm and they refused to give me the handset and behaved badly with me saying we dont have any supervisors and you can do anything you like, we will not give your handset today. I asked them why dont u guys pick up the phone, they denied saying we do and showed me few entries of the calls in the register which i am sure are fake or not even 50% of the calls they get.

4. FInally, they told me we will keep your handset and handsfree ready, you can come and collect by 8:00pm tomorrow.

5. Today, when I called them, to my surprise they first time picked up the phone, lady called Sarita answered the call and she is a real pity to customer service. She said your phone has again gone yesterday to the service center back because the problem was not recitified. I asked her who sent it back without my permission, I didnt even checked the phone and I was not even informed the headset has gone back again.

6. This lady Sarita, gave me another no 9871131182, I asked whose number is this, she said i dont know, anyone who picks the phone, you can speak and ask him why your cell phone has gone back. She was extremely rude and doesnt even know ABC of customer service.

7. Finally, I was asked by MR. SURESH who picked the call on this no and claimed himself to be the manager and asked me to SMS my jobsheet and cell details and said we have sent this cell again back to repair centre..I said, but I was not informed, he didnt had any answer for the same.

***Your service center staff is pathetic and it has been almost a month that my headset and phone are lying with them. I am a busy professional and stay far, I dont have time, effort and money to spend again and again to come, because your guys on phone are useless.

***I want to claim a new handset - Nokia 6300 and handsfree from the company, else I as a customer have every right to go to higher authorities and lodge a case against NOKIA care.

Awaiting response on this escalation.
