Speaker n head set problem

Hi can anyone help? My nokia n70 has no sound at all and the head set symbol is on the screen. I tried to restore the factory setting and but still have no sound and the head set symbol is still there. Tried plugging head set in and out. Anyone any idea how I can fix this? Thanks.
