Memory card Problem

I have purchased Nokia's 5220 Xpress music phone 2months ago, Although its been working nivcely but the problem is that while updating the content it hangs frequently and automatically restarts.

Also latest problem i encountered is that its not recognizing the memory card..Ive tried formatting the memory card but still its not recognizing it. It is getting hanged and often becomes too slow to function normally.

Please help!!
