Non-activation of GPRS

My mobile no. is 9471132819 from Sahibganj (JHARKHAND). On 8.4.09 I sent the massage-GPRS E to 53733. Configuration message has been received by me on 9.4.09 which I have successfully saved. But gprs has not been activated up till now. Wheh contacted, customer care personels say that they will send a provisioning message to activate gprs. But I have been able to get nothing but assurance.
