I wish to express my disappointment that I had faced recently. I had bought a new NOKIA handset (model no 1661) at Rocky agencies, Alwarpet Chennai on 6th Sep 09. Initially, the handset was working fine and within a week of the purchase, the handset used to come to a standstill and this increased in the due course of time. I had reached out to the agency mentioning the issue, however the member had restored the factory settings. I had again visited the agency on the same day with the proof of the issue. They had agreed to replace the model but they required the box which was given when I had bought the set. I had asked them to replace the set with the bill and the handset, however I was refused and they counter argued that it will not be replaced. I was not informed that I had to retain the box during my purchase or explained in the box itself so that I would have retained it. However they were asking me to bring the box to exchange the handset.
