Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I bought a Nokia Handset (Model # N85, Product Code 057729, IMEI # 356376020551192) on December. I bought it from The Mobile Store, Velachery, Chennai against proper documentation for a price of INR 23, 000 taxes.

However, since January of this year, I have been repeatedly facing the same problem again and again. And so far has repaired the phone four times in Nokia Cares. The problem with the phone is it restarts/reboots automatically whenever I put it on charge or run any video in the inbuilt real player.

The first time I repaired was in January where The Nokia Care at T. Nagar updated the software and said that the problem has been rectified. That was just a month after I bought the handset! However, I face the same problem again and this time I went to Nokia Care at Royapettah (Rocky Agencies). Again they said the software of my handset needs to be changed (which they did again!). But within a couple of weeks I faced the problem again, so I again went to the same Nokia Care where they said that they need to sent in to their head office. I recieved a call after around twenty-five days. This time I spoke with their manager, Mr. Pandiyan (91988411900) who assured that there would not be any problem now since it has been repaired from the Head Office.

Things were fine until the phone started giving the same problem. I waited for it to get ok, but when it did not I went to the Nokia Care again on 1st October. This was for the fourth time within ten months. The Job Sheet # for the last repair is 312465550/091001/135.

I was not convinced with the answer I got so I decided to have a word with the Nokia Care customer line at 08030303838 on 2nd October. They gave me a complaint # 1/8323808805. I had specifically asked for a replacement of my handset since I have repaired it four times in ten months for the same problem. However, when I spoke with the Customer Care line today regarding the status of my complaint, they told me that my handset has been sent for repair to their Head Office and I shall recieve it by 20th of this month.

When I spoke about the replacement, they told me that If it can be repaired they will not give me a replacement. All this while they were repairing my handset and again the problem was there. And my warranty is expiring on December, then what do I do after that.

It is only after all this that I have decided to ask for justice. Please help me with this issue. I want a new handset since my handset is under warranty (and this is a manufacturer fault). Also, I would like to claim a compensation which is deemed necessary by you for the run-around and inconvenience that I have been caused in the past ten months.
