I have been using Nokia mobiles since 12 years. I change my Nokia mobile once in two years by paying highest possible price then. Last year I bought a Nokia 6300 for Rs.11, 500/- (present cost is only Rs.8, 000/-. I bought this model mainly for its colorful diplay and sleek design.
Later I realize that this model is a failure and my brothers and friends are abusing me for recommending them this model. The handfree set is as good as a scrap, rubber rings were fell off, sharp metal rings injures my ears and the handset hangs by over heating. Should I approach consumer court.!
Finally I gave my handset for repair in their authorized agent Radient in Anna Nagar, Chennai on 11th April, today is 19th April and handset is still lying in L3 for repairs. (JS 080411/24) It has 500 contact numbers and I am really finding it difficult with out the handset. I am really in soup and it hampers my business.
This is what the price I got from Nokia for buying their product at very high cost. When will I get my handset? If not will I get replacement and difference amount I paid extra for this failure model. Will I get compensation?. Nobody knows.. Consumers are made to suffer..
