I lost the cellphone and i want to block the usage of the cellphone

i lost my cellphone on last sunday, now i want to block the usage of my cellphone.

two cellphones has been bought at a time from the shop. at present i do not have the

bill with me. If i give one of the IMEI no. of the cellphone, is it ok to block the cellphone.

or is it advisable for me to get or is it possible to get from customer care (mobile no.

what i have used in this cell phone) the IMEI no. of the lost cell phone.
