Hi,

This is Srinivas.

This is regarding the problems am facing with the handset [E-62] from the time I purchased.

Job Sheet No.: 057434038/080212/103 .

I bought this handset on the 6th of Feb. 08 from a leading cellular shop, who in turn brought

it from the Priority showroom right next, as the PRIORITY SHOWROOM didnot have the facility to

swipe a HSBC credit card.

From the time I bought it I had a problem with the joystick of the handset.

I could not use the joystick to mave neither to the left or to the top.

In case I did it would work as the selest key.

I was first shocked to hear that the joystick works in the same way in a E-62, as it has active

standby from one Mr. Syed from the customer care.

When I checked the same with a friends handset it was working fine.

Then I called the customer care at 1800 425 3388 and they confirmed that it was a problem with the joystick.

I spoke to the manager and he assured me that he would get back to me in 24 hours.

They promptly got back to me wherein, they told me to approach the NOKIA CARE centre.

I went to the same and deposited my handset.

The person in-charge told me that it will take a minimum of 8 to 10 days to replace the set.

I made it very clear that I cannot stay without a habdset for such a long time.

Mr. Syed who had called me told me that he would escalate the same and it would be done in 48 hours.

When I called Mr. Syed again he denied saying so and now told me that it would take 8-10 days for

the same and will have to bear till then.

Then I spoke to Ms. Deepa Singh who told me that she is the team manager [2-2 TLJ 9V].

Then the next day I spoke to Ms. Revathy reference no.:2-2 t s x 95.

When I asked her designation she said she is the team leader and then immediately changed it to the team manager.

Mr. Syed gave me a call and informed me that during the conversation with Ms. Deepa Singh,

there was no mention of the job sheet or the enquiry about my handset and it was just a conversation.

I am utterly shocked to see the way the customer care is handled.

On the 15 th I spoke to one Mr. Deepak Arora vide reference no.:2-2 T W F X F.

On the the 18 th I called back the customer care and enquired about the status wherein the customer care had no answer and told me to call tomorrow.

Now I have lost all the hopes in NOKIA.

When I asked for the e-mail id. of any person in the customer care they promptly say they cannot disclose.

Please look into the same.

I would like to ask you if it takes 15 days to replace a new handset with a manufacturing defect.

Wish the customer care was also as good as the nokia mobiles.
