Nokia E 71
Phone hangs while using GPS

I bought a nokia e 71 just yesterday and when i opened the gps software the phone got hang.. the only option left was to remove the battery and start the phone again.. rest of the phone works fine but whenever i try to open gps the phone hangs..

can anyone help me??
